How to Get to the Paris Catacombs by Public Transport

Closest stop: Denfert-Rochereau

If you're traveling by bus, the following lines will drop you off near the Catacombs: 38, 68, 88, and 91. If you're starting from the Eiffel Tower, you have to take two buses to reach the Paris Catacombs. At Tour Eiffel, take bus number 82 and alight at Auguste Comte. From here, take bus number 38 and alight at Denfert-Rochereau. The Catacombs are a minute away from the bus stop.

From the Eiffel Tower, walk about 700 meters until you reach the Bir-Hakeim station. Take line 6 and disembark at the Denfert-Rochereau station, just 9 stops away. Lines 4 and 6 will get you to the Paris Catacombs. You can also take RER B from the Champ de Mars Eiffel Tower to Denfert-Rochereau.

Parking Facilities: The closest paid parking facility is at Boulevard Saint-Jacques Velib’: 2, avenue René-Coty. This parking lot is right by the Catacombs.
